Wait . . . what??? It can't be!!

Hoping all my blogging buddies get a good start on 2014. With my academic pursuits at an end, I plan to devote more time & energy to my recreational writing here in the New Year, but I'll need to dust off my sense of humor, first. I know it's around here somewhere....

Anyway, here's one of my favorite renditions of Auld Lang Syne, performed by Salsa Celtica. Brass, congas, banjo, and bagpipe -- something to annoy for everyone!

  1. Kind of a Conga Go Bragh, eh?

Don't let Rush get wind of this (wind...no pun intended...ok, it was intended), least he declare this the beginning of the liberal war on New Years.

That was a test of your humor thingy.

    1. Good thinking - keeping it hush, I mean. Then again, I'd think that Rush & Co. are the ones who don't want to move forward. On anything.

  3. Actually the conga players mixed right in I think I might make this my favorite version of Celtic music myself. Rush moves forward...he sits on the backward facing seat on the rear traveling engine or something like that...I had a vision but lost it.

    1. Glad you liked it, Mark! Rush lost it a long time ago, but he's still out there -- go figure.

Have the best year you can!

  4. Funny, I participated in a very similar Auld Lang Syne myself last night... guitar, accordion, fiddle, autoharp and bongos. It actually worked. I believe. On the other hand, I can't remember much about last night.

Glad to have you back in the blogosphere Intelli.

    1. Sounds fun, Mr. C -- as long as everyone was in mostly the same key, I'm sure it worked!

      Have a spiffy 2014!
