Dachshund collage by Peter Clark, via Izzy Loves...
This nifty piece of wienerdog art inspires me to fetch my scissors and those old magazines that haven't made their way to the recycle bin yet, and try my own hand at collage. I don't expect the results to be as spectacular as Peter Clark's, but I do expect it might be quite therapeutic.
Yey, a little color in our lives.
ReplyDeleteThat wiener dog is a cheerful sight. Reminds me that it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, no matter what else is going on.
ReplyDeleteThanks and hope all is well.
Mr. C - Color good, ja?
ReplyDeleteHi Tricia - it's a beautiful day here, too! Glad you like my wiener!
I can't draw, so I bet I'm worse with a pair of scissors. No wieners displayed from this quarter...
ReplyDeleteAt first it just looked colourful, but the more I stare at it the more surreal it gets. Why, for instance, has it got a large skyscraper on its chest?
ReplyDeleteDoug - that's ok - I still like the wienerdog "graffiti" you photo'd in Toronto!
ReplyDeleteMick, wienerdogs dream big -- that one has NYC's Chrysler Building close to its heart. I think most of the ephemera used to create this particular collage are NYC or Broadway related.
I was going to make a witty rejoinder but it's 03.06 here and I'm too tired to think of one. My apologies.
